The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena has poor Karan Johar by the collar. His latest flick, Wake Up Sid is in trouble over use of the word 'Bombay', which Ranbir's character keeps repeating all through the film.
This has angered the hardline political party with members already organising mass protests against the movie across Maharashtra.
Producer K-Jo, meanwhile, met with MNS head Raj Thackeray and has reportedly apologised for the use of 'Bombay' in his film. Reports also claim the Dostana maker has agreed to the massive task of re-dubbing 'Bombay', back to 'Mumbai'.
Bollywood has had a history of trouble with the MNS with Jaya Bachchan most recently facing a backlash for her pro-Hindi remarks at an event in Mumbai.
